Capturing a City’s Shift to Clean Energy with ForeFront Power
Capturing a multi-megawatt solar and battery storage project delivering over $25 million in long-term savings

For this project, ForeFront Power brought in THE BUREAU to capture photo and video coverage of their solar and energy storage installation at the Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The goal was to document a large-scale infrastructure project in a way that felt clean, cinematic, and easy to understand. Something that shows both the scale of the system and the real-world impact it has on powering essential city operations.
I saw this project through from concept to final delivery. That included planning coverage, identifying key visuals, and shaping how the story would come together in both photo and video.

On the production side, the approach was straightforward. Use drone footage to establish scale and layout, and the Sony FX6 to capture ground-level detail, motion, and supporting visuals. Balancing wide aerials with tighter shots helped bring clarity to a complex system.
The challenge with projects like this is making technical infrastructure feel engaging. It’s not just about showing what’s there, it’s about showing why it matters. The final piece reflects that balance. Clean visuals, natural pacing, and a focus on making the project approachable without losing its technical depth.
This is the same approach I bring to video production across San Jose, San Francisco, and the Bay Area. Whether it’s energy, tech, or branded content, the goal is always the same. Take something complex and make it clear, visual, and impactful. Story first. Clean visuals. Real-world application.
